Education Requirement: Masters or Doctorate
Experience: Minimum of 2 years working as PA or NP rendering direct patient care.
Commitment: Employment contract for minimum of 3 year
Professional references required. Must successfully pass drug screening process and background check requirements.
Vaccines required: MMR, Polio, H. flu, TD/TDAP, Hepatitis B
Must work well with others, be a self-starter and be motivated to dynamically improve self professionally.
Duties: Work with provider staff (NP/PA/MD/DO), clinical support staff (MA, RN) and administrative staff (reception and leadership) rendering direct and indirect patient care. Responsible for clinical intake data collection, including comprehensive patient history completion, reviewing vital signs and appropriately compiling related health information for acute and chronic encounters. Complete procedures, manage acute/chronic health concerns for patients across the lifespan, order and interpret diagnostic testing, coordinate care with other healthcare professionals inside and outside of AFH, lead community education courses, and be open to local, regional and international mission opportunities.
